Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner Level 2/3 to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their development and well-being.

Duties:

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences

  • Support children's physical, emotional, and social development

  • Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime

  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment

  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development

  • Communicate with parents/guardians about their child's day, progress, and any concerns

  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures

Skills:

  • Passion for working with young children

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
