HGV Class 2 Driver – Site Services, Runtech North Ltd

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver here at Runtech, based within the British steel, Scunthorpe. We pride ourselves in fostering a great working environment, if you're passionate about doing great things in a fast-moving industry, we'd love to hear from you

The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and proactively loading and securing materials within the site. Reliability and customer satisfaction is key.

If you're looking for a role that has no tramping up and down the motorway and being home at the end of your working shift, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Key attributes:

· Helping to maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety Procedures

· Demonstrating a positive and motivated attitude.

· Experience in a haulage environment, preferably with heavy low loader operations.

· Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Essential Qualifications:

· Full UK Driving Licence

· Valid HGV Class 2 C

. Vac or Tanker or similar experience preferred.

. Maximum of 6 points on licence for Insurance purposes.

Package:

  • Basic hourly rate paid weekly in arrears of £14.00 per hour
  • Working Hours 7.45am to 4.15pm, Monday to Friday inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break.
  • Overtime: Overtime is paid after the completion of your basic working hours (40 hours)
  • Overtime rates: Time & a half for hours worked in excess of 40 & Double time paid on Sundays
  • Auto enrolled into company pension scheme
  • Uniform and PPE Provided

The successful candidate will be subject to our induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing and vehicle licence check.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
