Then do not miss this incredible opportunity to join the team in Lancaster We're seeking a detail-oriented and career focussed Payroll Administrator to work alongside the Payroll Manager processing multiple UK and international payrolls.
Working within a friendly team ensuring that payrolls are processed accurately and on time, supporting a smooth and efficient payroll function.
What you'll be doing:
- End-to-End Payroll Processing: Ownership of the administration and processing of monthly payrolls, ensuring that salary payments are made accurately and on time.
- Onboarding/Offboarding: Dealing with starters and leavers, P45's/P46's, ensuring all relevant information is processed correctly.
- Pensions & Benefits: Assist with managing company benefits, including healthcare and cycle-to-work schemes, and administration of pension plans.
- Year-End Processes: Provide support international payroll year-end processes, ensuring all compliance and tax requirements are met.
- Employee Record Management: Maintain employee records keeping data up to date, including tax details, bank information, and addresses changes
- Payroll Queries: Be the go-to point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing clear, timely, and professional advice/support.
- Confidentiality and Accuracy: Maintain strict confidentiality, ensuring all payroll data is processed with the highest level of accuracy and professionalism.
What we're looking for:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years payroll experience processing both small and high volume payrolls and employee benefits.
- Tech Savvy: Knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll (training can be provided). Ideally knowledge of Excel
- Attention to Detail: Able to work to deadlines, thriving in a fast moving, high-volume environment and never compromising on accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills able to interact confidently with colleagues at all levels.
- Confidentiality & Trust: You comprehend the importance of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information.
- Problem Solving: Quickly identify issues and practical solutions, whilst maintaining high standards of work.
