Plumber/Pipefitter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, and the knowledge to carry out installation, maintenance, and repair tasks effectively. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using appropriate tools and techniques
• Collate work time sheets. Arrive on time to appointments and jobs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other specialised instruments to complete tasks efficiently
• Assemble pipework, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
• Troubleshoot problems within plumbing systems
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use

Skills

• Ability to track and trace leaks
• Good installation and repair knowledge
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in installation and maintenance tasks
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting purposes
• Knowledge of plumbing and heating systems

Pay: £23.00-£34.50 per hour
