Our inviting venue boasts a rooftop restaurant where the day begins with incredible breakfast, followed by a delightful shift to a a luxurious small-plate sharing concept from midday until late. The Bar and Kitchen offers a buzzing atmosphere, family favourites, tasty cocktails, while our shack provides quick coffee and bites for those on the move. Downstairs our lodge offers a cosy workspace and cafe setting.

A Rockwater barback embodies proactive and cheerful teamwork, fueled by a genuine passion for hospitality. Seamlessly collaborating with both the bar team and guests, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the bar service is smooth by assisting with making drinks, cleaning glasses and crockery and keeping the bar area clean and tidy.
- Make sure the bar is always adequately stocked with wet stock, fruit, coffee, milk, ice & garnishes.
- Ensure stock is being rotated according to FIFO.
- Make sure that glasses are clean, dry and rotated by washing all used glasses in the glasswasher.
- Be able to change kegs, post mix, and gas cylinders as required.
- Able to receive deliveries and check invoices in the absence of a bar manager.
- Put away deliveries and ensure FIFO is being followed.
- Assist the bartenders with making drinks if necessary during busy times.
- Ensure all cutlery is clean and polished during service.
- Adhere to opening and closing checklists.
- Being aware of and follow the correct allergy procedure at all times.
- Minimise wastage at all times and record appropriately.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current licensing laws and ensure these are adhered to.
- Compliance with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene.
- To have an understanding of Rockwater and the various experiences we offer our guests, including our Openwater subscription.
- To be at work and ready to start your shift as per your rota and to clock in and out accordingly.
- To always be presentable and to represent the Rockwater brand to the highest standard.
- To follow the correct sickness procedure.
• Ensure to follow up any guidance or instructions given to you by management (i.e overall bar cleaning). - To assist where required throughout Rockwater according to business needs.
