Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, an innovative, dynamic Wood and Specialist High End Flooring Retailer with their expansion plans in North and South London where they are seeking to recruit additional Sales Staff for one of their Flagship Showrooms in Croydon, South London.

The Company

A Leading National Online Flooring Retailer with a Dynamic and innovative approach to Flooring Sales that has revolutionised the UK Flooring Market and the way people buy their flooring. They took the bold step to add a High Street route to market in 2014 and now have 5 branches with plans to grow further, not traditional shops but Showrooms, they offer a high end and high tech solution to both the public and the trade as well as a one stop shop for Designers and developers looking to stay "on trend" with their flooring decisions.

The Role

Advising and offering the very best in Customer Service and a Pro-active approach to Sales, utilising the latest means of communications on line and in store, and guaranteeing a great experience for customers, every time. This is not, as stated a Shop Sales role but a true, consultative Sales environment which will make the very best use of the environment in store and the sales persons inter personal skills to give the customer a truly satisfying experience every time they deal with the showroom.

The Person

Not necessarily from a Flooring background, though preference will be given to candidates with prior knowledge of the market, the company are seeking real customer service and sales professionals with a burning desire to offer the best service, advice and enjoyment for their customers. Not someone who is happy to sit and wait, you will be proactive, identifying and pursuing local opportunities to build the business with the trade and Design community. You will be well presented and possess the interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken) to be a great ambassador for the company and be committed to helping to build the brand. You will also be confident and capable of using all of the latest means of communication, email, internet, twitter, SMS etc. that the company's clients demand. You may be from a Comms or IT Sales background looking for a different opportunity to utilise your skills or be setting off on your career path looking for an opportunity to use your degree in a positive and encouraging environment.

The Rewards

Long term the company have ambitious plans to expand the business so there is scope for promotion to management roles. In the short term a negotiable basic salary package in the region of £20 to £25k is available plus various incentives and bonuses etc to give OTE's in the region of £28k.
