Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Support Worker based in Liverpool. The Support Worker will provide hands-on assistance tailored to the needs of individuals to help them live independently within the community. Responsibilities include delivering personalized care plans, supporting daily living activities, ensuring physical and emotional well-being, and helping individuals achieve their goals and aspirations. Additional tasks may involve liaising with healthcare professionals and family members, documenting progress, and creating a safe, inclusive environment that promotes independence.

Qualifications

  • Experience in providing person-cantered care, with an understanding of diverse needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health challenges desired but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to manage daily living tasks, including personal care, household management, and community integration
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety regulations, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment desired but not essential
  • Previous experience in social care, supported living, or healthcare settings is highly desirable but not essential
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care) desirable but not essential
  • Empathetic, resourceful, and adaptable, with a commitment to improving the lives of those supported
