We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your responsibilities will include supporting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. This position is ideal for those with a passion for caregiving and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide support in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and document changes in clients' health or behaviour, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Support clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Valid driving licence
  • Car
