Dental Receptionist – Wakefield
We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist to join and support our busy team at our Wakefield dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and providing administrative support to the dental team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be well-organised with a welcoming attitude, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries promptly and efficiently
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Ensure the reception area remains clean and organised
- Provide administrative support to the dentist and other team members as required
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Polish and English
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Professional manner with a positive, can-do attitude
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous experience in a similar role is welcomed but not essential
- Experience in administrative duties or a customer-facing environment is an advantage
What We Offer:
- Part-time employment (24 hours per week) – Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- Fixed-term contract for 9 to 12 months
- Regular working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full training provided
- £400 dental treatment package for the successful candidate after completing the probation period
- Immediate start available
- DBS check required (cost covered by the practice)
