About Us:

Grenham Bay Court is a highly regarded residential care home located in beautiful Birchington, with stunning sea views and peaceful surroundings. We support up to 33 elderly residents, including those with dementia and requiring palliative care. Our warm, family-focused home has been rated GOOD by the CQC and is known for its homely environment and dedicated staff.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Carer/Team Leader - Day Shift to join our team. In this role, you'll help lead the day shift, ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and supervise day care staff
  • Administer medication in line with policies
  • Provide personal care and emotional support
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing throughout the day
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and communication with day staff

About You:

  • Previous experience in a care role (essential)
  • Experience leading a care team (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (required), with willingness to work towards Level 3
  • Confident in medication administration, with willingness to train
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of care
