Picker and Packer

At Cowling and Wilcox we're passionate about art, and since the 1960s, we have specialised in providing supplies for artists and graphic designers. We are currently looking for a picker & packer to work from our Aylesham warehouse.

This is a permanent position on a Full Time contract for 37.5 hours a week, 5 days a week. The standard working hours are 9am to 5.30pm with one hour break for lunch. We are currently looking at implementing a weekend shift so you will be required to work either Saturdays or Sundays. There will be occasional overtime at busy times such as in November & December when you will be required to work extra.

Summary

As a Picker and Packer, you will be essential in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by accurately picking and packing products for shipment. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your core skills in warehouse experience and picking & packing will be vital.

Your role will entail some heavy lifting and quality control to maintain high standards, including loading and unloading deliveries when necessary. Your duties will also involve making sure that work areas are kept clean, accessible, neat and well-organised as well as assisting in maintaining the security of the warehouse.

You must be reliable, punctual, have a very good eye for detail and possess a good command of the English language.

Previous picker and packer experience is required and salary depends on your current age and is based on the current National Living Wage.
