Job Title: Senior Practitioner - Safeguarding Team
Location: Greenwich
Pay Rate: £35 per hour

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Practitioner to join its client's Safeguarding Team, based in Greenwich.
The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred social work within the Adult Safeguarding Team, ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of vulnerable adults. Responsibilities include managing safeguarding concerns, undertaking statutory assessments, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to reduce risk and promote independence.

What will your responsibilities be?

  •  Lead and coordinate Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014.
  • Undertake risk assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Best Interest decisions.
  • Respond to safeguarding alerts and referrals, ensuring timely and proportionate interventions.
  • Work closely with health professionals, police, housing, and voluntary sector partners to ensure a multi-agency approach to safeguarding.
  • Develop and review care and support plans that promote safety, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records using the council's case management system (e.g., Liquid Logic, Mosaic).
  • Apply professional curiosity and strengths-based approaches to all aspects of practice.
  • Attend safeguarding strategy meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as required.
  • Promote awareness of safeguarding across the wider adult social care service and contribute to service development

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have.  

  • Social Work England registration 
  • Eligible to work in the UK 
  • Hold a full UK driving licence 
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
