Each of our furniture units is meticulously crafted, rigid-built (never flat-packed), and made using only the highest-quality materials to ensure lasting durability and customer satisfaction.

We currently have a vacancy in our production department for a Machine Operative, specifically with CNC, Saw and edge bander experience.

Role Overview:

This role is based in a fast-paced factory environment and involves working within a small team and operating one of our many machines, predominately an Angle Plant Saw.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of a Supervisor to complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
  • Adhere to all relevant procedures and processes in line with the Company's standards and requirements.
  • Ensure a "Right First Time" product is delivered to the customer, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing and specifically machinery
  • Background in fast-moving production environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Working Hours:

A trial of annualised hours is currently in place which compromises of a low, standard and high pattern.

Low - Monday to Thursday 7am to 3pm

Standard - Monday to Wednesday 7am to 5pm and Thursday 7am to 4.30pm

High - Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm and Friday 7am to 4pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,570 per year
