This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Python Developer in EMEA.

As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building innovative products within a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will leverage your expertise to develop scalable solutions, explore and integrate open datasets and APIs, and extend the functionality of security-focused applications. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic engineering team, contribute to core product development, and influence the direction of cutting-edge technology. You will be involved throughout the development lifecycle—from design and implementation to testing and deployment—ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness and growth of security tools used by diverse clients, making this a highly visible and rewarding position.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python-based applications, ensuring clean, efficient, and testable code.
  • Explore open datasets and APIs to enhance knowledge bases and product offerings.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs and services to extend application functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • Support testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of new products and enhancements.
  • Contribute to product design discussions and technical planning sessions.
Requirements
  • 5–8 years of hands-on Python programming experience.
  • Strong experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Knowledge of application, cloud, and network security concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Bonus points for experience with React/JS, TypeScript, or additional programming languages (JS, Java, C#, Go, C++, SQL).
  • Self-motivated, creative, and able to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
