27.5 hours per week - Term Time only, fixed term contract until 31/8/25 in the first instance.

Applications are invited for a Teaching Assistant Level 1-ALN. The successful applicant will need to be registered with the Educational Workforce Council before appointment.

This role involves supporting pre-verbal children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a specialist assessment and observation setting. You will work closely with the teacher and other TAs to provide a safe, nurturing environment that promotes communication, independence, and well-being.

Key responsibilities include assisting with structured learning activities, implementing individual support plans, and using observation skills to monitor progress. You will also provide essential care, including personal hygiene and changing, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times. The position requires patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse needs, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills.
