We are currently seeking a
Commercial Contracts Lawyer
to work with various Axiom clients across all industries.
Responsibilities
:
- Prepare, assess, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, including identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating legal exposure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, procurement, and finance, to ensure contractual terms align with business objectives, negotiate favourable terms, and resolve contract-related disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 10 years PQE in-house legal experience (directly, or as a secondee)
- Openness to part-time or full-time roles.
- Good academic credentials and post-qualification experience.
- Strong commercial understanding, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in the UK and be eligible to practice as a lawyer in the UK.
- Proficiency in additional European languages (at a business working level) is highly desirable, in addition to fluency in English.
