Please note this is Fixed term post for: 15 months

The shift pattern for this post is: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 or 08:30 - 18:30 over 4 days

Please be advised that, effective 1 April 2026, the full-time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.

We are looking for one skilled and passionate cardiac physiologist to join our dynamic team. The role would suit physiologists committed to continued development and who strive to provide the highest quality of patient care.

The RHC is the Scottish centre for cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology and the paediatric ECMO centre for Scotland.

Applicants should have either a Degree in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent and relevant experience. The hours are variable over 4 or 5 days dependent on shift worked. The candidate will be expected, when qualified/experienced, to participate in a 24 hour on-call service.
