Year 1 Teacher Opportunity – Inner London

Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS
Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary (until July 2025) – Potential for Permanent Contract from September 2025
Start Date: January 2025

Are you an enthusiastic and child-centred educator looking to join a vibrant and supportive team? We are seeking a Year 1 Teacher to inspire and support pupils in their academic and personal growth.

The role involves working with a Year 1 class that includes a high level of need, with 3 children with ASD and 2 with social and emotional concerns. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and creating a nurturing learning environment.

  • Have high expectations for pupil behaviour and achievement.
  • Are child-centred in their teaching approach.
  • Are open to running after-school clubs, booster sessions, and a school choir.
  • Possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excel in team collaboration.
  • Build strong relationships with children and parents.
