Advanced Specialist Nurse Dermatology
NHS Borders is seeking an
Advanced Specialist Nurse Clinical Lead
to join our Dermatology Team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
About The Role
You will provide expert leadership and clinical oversight within the dermatology service. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care for patients with a wide range of dermatological conditions.
This Is a Key Leadership Role Where You Will
- Lead and develop advanced nursing practice within dermatology.
- Deliver nurse-led clinics
- Support service improvement and innovation.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing colleagues.
- Contribute to strategic planning and service development.
- Act as a resource for patients, carers, and professionals across NHS Borders.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a nurse who:
- Is a registered nurse with significant experience in dermatology.
- Can demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Has a passion for improving patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Is confident in autonomous decision-making and clinical assessment.
