Bartenders required for Skate Lounge Bar at Somerset House

Jimmy Garcia Catering is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Bartenders to staff The Skate Lounge bar at the iconic Somerset House. This is a high-volume, premium service environment running throughout the festive season, demanding both speed and exceptional hospitality.

Your role:

  • You will be responsible for the swift and accurate delivery of our beverage menu, ensuring every guest experience is positive:
  • Service & Execution: Prepare and serve a high volume of premium festive cocktails, hot drinks, wine, and beer, adhering strictly to all drink specifications.
  • Team Commitment: Demonstrate strong punctuality and the flexibility to commit to shifts across the entire festive season, including one of either Boxing Day or New Year's Eve/Day.
  • Operational Flow: Maintain an immaculate, well-stocked, and organised bar to ensure seamless, continuous service during peak hours.
  • Guest Focus: Provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service, contributing to the fun, unique atmosphere of the venue.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to licensing laws (Challenge 25) and all health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar environment is strongly preferred, with good fundamental beverage knowledge.
  • Pace: The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Attitude: A warm, engaging, and highly reliable personality with excellent communication skills.
