Substance Misuse Psychosocial Lead
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of individuals affected by substance misuse? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Substance Misuse Psychosocial Lead to take a lead role in delivering high-quality recovery services within a prison setting.
As a senior member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will take a lead role in providing the successful and effective delivery of Substance Misuse Recovery Services in HMP Secured Services. To work as a Substance Misuse Psychosocial Lead within a multi-disciplinary team in a prison setting, providing care to patients with complex substance misuse problems with co-occurring mental health issues, from the point of entry into the prison system to re-entry into the community so that re-offending is reduced and the health and social functioning of prisoners is improved.
Lead the delivery of psychosocial substance misuse services in line with national standards and performance indicators.
Provide high-quality, person-centred care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Champion both harm reduction and recovery-focused approaches.
Ensure services demonstrate value for money and meet the expectations of commissioners.
Provide leadership and professional guidance to the staff team, ensuring adherence to policies and the highest standards of care.
NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Nottinghamshire
NHFT promotes a culture of learning to improve the care and safety of our patients and staff, which focuses on people who enable our Trust to be 'outstanding' by supporting opportunity, innovation, development and growth.
