As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and creative Junior Artworker & Marketing Assistant to join us. This role is perfect for someone at the beginning of their career, eager to develop skills in both graphic design and marketing.

Role Overview:

The Junior Artworker & Marketing Assistant will play a dual role within The Sign Group, supporting our design team with artworking tasks while also assisting with our marketing efforts. This is an entry-level position, ideal for a proactive individual with a strong interest in both design and marketing who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Artworking Duties:

  • Assist in the creation and preparation of artwork for a wide range of signage projects.
  • Ensure that all artwork adheres to The Sign Group's brand guidelines and meets project specifications.
  • Collaborate with senior designers to refine concepts and prepare final designs for production.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure the accurate translation of designs into finished products.

Marketing Duties:

  • Assist in developing and scheduling engaging content for our social media channels.
  • Design marketing materials such as adverts for brochures, emails, and other traditional media.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all marketing collateral.
  • Support the marketing team in planning and executing social media campaigns and other promotional activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong eye for detail and a passion for design.
  • Basic proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential, but a Plus):

  • Interest in writing and creating engaging blog content for our website.
  • Basic photography skills for in-house photo shoots of finished sign projects.
  • Experience or interest in videography, particularly for creating instructional 'How to' videos and promotional films.
