Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a care home or home care setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
  • Help with serving light refreshments as per need of the residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care plans and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Support residents through the night.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations within the care environment.
  • Cleaning Duties

Experience

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting.
  • IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when necessary.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
