Alliance Asbestos Services are a respected local firm, based on the outskirts of Cambridge, we are a fully licenced Asbestos Removal Company, committed to ensuring safe and compliant environments for our clients.
Due to continual growth, we are seeking dedicated and skilled Asbestos Removal Operatives to join our professional and friendly team.
This is an employed position, full time and hourly paid.
The work will involve travelling to various sites within Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.
Applicants must be fully fit, can work efficiently within a team, hold a full and preferably clean driving licence, be conscientious, punctual, self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic.
The successful applicants will be required to liaise with clients at all levels and maintain high standards at all times.
Full training will be given to the right candidate, plus ongoing regular training.
In return, we offer an excellent salary, plus overtime, a bonus scheme and 4 weeks of annual leave.
Role
As an Asbestos Removal Operative, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient removal of asbestos-containing materials from both residential and commercial premises. You will be required to carry out duties as requested by the supervisor and management team ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and quality.
Responsibilities for the job role:
- To carry out asbestos removal works on a variety of projects including commercial and residential buildings.
- To ensure all works carried out are in accordance with Plans of Work.
- To work in accordance with HSE regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team whilst remaining calm and professional under pressure
Please Note - Due to Health & Safety reasons, face must be clean-shaven, with no beards, goatees or other facial hair permitted. This is due to the requirement of correctly fitted RPE.
