  • Support of our CT R&D Team - Legacy LL Spec. Dwgs. do not fully document all required specifications (many of these details were covered by supplemental LL machinist notes and extended "Text" in the LL EPDM system)   These machinist notes and the "Text" in the LL EPDM system re no longer available to reference.
  • James is our only resident knowledge expert that can help our Bedford R&D , Manufacturing, QA and Sourcing Team Members fill in the "Blanks"
  • Support of our CT R&D Team - Several of the Drawing Notes are documented in a Shorthand Language that speaks to "jargon" specific to in-house LL methods and procedures.  These "ambiguous references" has already caused Supplier Development delays and PPAP delays.
  • We have needed to rely on James to help "read between the lines" to help our CT Bedford Team gain full understanding of the actual measurable specifications, and then we ECO updated the Spec. Dwgs according to clarify the "Specs" so Kugler and NiPro could then adjust their manufacturing, optical testing and dimensional inspections.
  • Support of Sourcing and QA Teams - James is our only resident knowledge related metrology equipment like the Western Air Gage System.
  • When the Western Air Gage machines in use at Rable and here at CT were giving conflicting measurement results for the "Grading" of the Optos Ceramic Shafts and the Rotor Sleeves, James was called in to spend 2-weeks on-site at Rable Machine to trouble shoot the Gage System issues and to help commission the bring up of the new Western Air Gage machines we had to by for Rable Machine.
  • Support of Sourcing and QA Teams - When our new Supplier Sources are experiencing technical or dimensional difficulties, James continues to provide technical trouble shooting support relative to the manufacturing equipment, tools and process previously used at LL to product these Polygon based MPA Products.
