An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Newport City Council's Housing Support Team as Gateway Project Officer.

The Gateway Project Offcer works to support the Newport Supported Housing and Floating Support Gateway aiming to achive continuous improvement of housing support and better outcomes for service users and the prevention of homelessness in accordance with the Welsh Government's aspiration of homelessness being rare, brief and unrepeated

The Gateway Project Offier is responsible for:

• Ensuring that newly commissioned or remodelled housing support services are fully integrated into the any person living in Newport Supported Housing and Floating Support Gateway.
• Overseeing and supporting all Housing Support Grant Programme funded support provisions to ensure that contracted business partners can deliver high quality housing-related support service that work towards meeting the agreed outcomes for people on support / service.
• To lead on the production, implementation and update of Data Protection Impact Assessments, Data Disclosure Agreements and Wales Accord on the Sharing of Information relevant to the Newport Supported Housing and Floating Support Gateway.
