SENIOR PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Job Title: Senior Production Coordinator (bridal and evening wear)

Employment Type: Full-Time

This role is ideal for a Production Co‑ordinator with at least 5 years at this level, or an entry-level Senior Co‑ordinator, who is ready to take on greater responsibilities and independently oversee the end-to-end production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end production critical path across wholesale and D2C, ensuring all bridal and evening wear styles move through sampling, bulk production, and delivery smoothly and on schedule
  • Lead on creating, updating, and managing production orders in Zedonk with exceptional accuracy, including BOM management, costings, margin analysis, supplier capacity planning, and delivery timelines
  • Manage and mentor the Production Coordinator, overseeing their workload, supporting their development, and ensuring high standards of organisation and communication across all production tasks
  • Report directly to the Production Manager, providing regular updates on production status, risks, costings, and supplier performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with factories and suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and support long-term sourcing and supplier strategy
  • Oversee raw material planning by forecasting, pre-ordering, and managing fabric and trim inventory to ensure availability and minimise delays
  • Manage the flow of samples, swatches, trims, and approvals across all stages, ensuring timely sign-off and clear documentation across departments
  • Maintain and update production calendars, WIP reports, capacity trackers, risk registers, and supplier communication logs, ensuring the wider team has full visibility
  • Own documentation and record-keeping for all production processes including schedules and purchase orders
  • Oversee shipping, logistics handovers, and delivery timelines across all customer orders and wholesale accounts
  • Identify, escalate, and problem-solve production risks, capacity issues, or delays, working closely with senior stakeholders to agree swift resolutions
  • Support costing exercises, track production costs, analyse variances, and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and protect margins
  • Prepare production reports, margin reviews, forecasts, and meeting packs for senior management
  • Ensure a seamless handover from sales to production by refining internal processes and communication flows
  • Champion improvements in production workflow, documentation, and supplier performance, contributing to the wider operational strategy

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a production coordinator role within fashion, ideally within luxury, bridal, or made-to-order
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Advanced proficiency in Zedonk and confident managing complex datasets, production reporting, and order tracking
  • Strong technical understanding of garment construction, sampling, fabric knowledge, and bulk production processes
  • Proven ability to negotiate pricing, manage supplier relationships, and influence partners at all levels
  • Commercially driven with a strong grasp of costings, margins, and business impact
  • Highly organised, process-led, and confident managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across design, operations, sales, and external suppliers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office software
  • Confident problem solver with a proactive mindset and genuine passion for production and product excellence

Benefits:

  • Opportunity to work with a highly creative and collaborative team
  • Generous staff discount
  • Career development, training opportunities, and exposure to a fast-scaling luxury brand
