Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Duties

  • Perform cleaning tasks in local primary school, to include, classrooms and communal areas
  • Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while ensuring the area remains clutter-free.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when restocking is necessary.
  • Drive to location as required for cleaning assignments, ensuring timely arrival at the site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services provided.
  • Supervise and oversee other team member's cleaning responsibilities and tasks
  • Ensure school premises are adequately secure and safe upon leaving the site each day
  • Regular inspections of your team's areas and prompt and effective communication with management of any issues

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs professionally.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle is essential to the role
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are crucial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
