Job Description

As a Junior Design Coordinator, you will facilitate the delivery of design artefacts through the design lifecycle into marketing and media teams, for use across the Business and global visual estate.

The Design and UX department is responsible for the user experience and implementation of new features, whilst continually enhancing our existing products. The team acts as the custodian of our brand, carefully considering all design decisions with both user and Business requirements in mind.

Working within the co-ordination function of the team, you will be responsible for organising the delivery of designs and assets from concept stage through to delivery, gathering design requirements and setting delivery expectations. This will include managing the UI/UX and creative designers' workload and liaising with stakeholders across marketing teams and relevant areas of the Business.

You will work in an open and inclusive atmosphere with a close-knit team of talented UIUX and Graphic Designers, who strive to produce and deliver best in class design solutions.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work with different delivery methodologies.
  • Experience of working within a design team or project delivery team.
  • Ability to manage a large number of work items concurrently, whilst remaining calm under pressure and working to deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or Sketch.
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing techniques.
  • Good understanding of our website, features and offers.
  • Delivery focused, well organised with a natural eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Additional Information
  • Owning the co-ordination of imagery and asset creation and maintaining a library of design source files and exports.
  • Scheduling catchups with designers and resourcing their activity and efforts and managing the interaction between the design team and stakeholders to ensure the requirements are understood and implemented.
  • Acting as a first line of support for the design team, either triaging to the relevant area or answering support questions.
  • Taking responsibility for updating design ticket specifications and requesting translations where required.
  • Ensuring regulatory, legal and marketing compliance is obtained where applicable on all design artefacts.
  • Planning and tracking design tickets according to the correct priority.
  • Attending project checkpoint meetings, obtaining actions to feed back into the design process, and providing updates on progress to wider Business teams.
  • Facilitating visual sign off by design management and stakeholders.
  • Arranging design feedback sessions, feedback implementation and project handovers.
  • Providing estimates ensuring accurate portrayals of effort can be obtained and subsequently delivered upon.
