Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
- Identify customer requirements through active listening and effective questioning
- Present product features and benefits clearly to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry trends
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance
- Keep the sales area tidy, organised, and visually appealing to optimise customer experience
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions effectively
- Proactive attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for sales and customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in retail or sales is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
