AVP, Cyber Underwriter

Underwriter
in our
Cyber
team in our Financial Lines & Cyber business.

Our Cyber Underwriting team offers opportunities to develop and grow a profitable portfolio of Cyber and Technology PI business in the London market. This position will be based out of our
London

Our Business, Your Impact, Our Opportunity
What you'll be doing:

• Underwriting – risk selection and underwriting of profitable accounts. Underwrite all accounts in accordance with underwriting guidelines, individual authority statement and to referral structure.
• Wording skills – understanding of Network Security, Privacy Liability and Technology PI products and endorsements.
• Administration and Reporting – file keeping, organisation of client accounts, undertaking data analysis and regular review of portfolio when requested
• Production – ability to work with various broking houses, develop books of business as well as attend group and one-on-one client meetings
• Travel where necessary, both national and international
• Presenting to internal and external stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years Underwriting/Insurance experience in Cyber and Technology PI
• Preferred experience in underwriting cyber exposures including knowledge of Cyber and Technology PI wordings
• Insurance or Cyber specific qualifications beneficial
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and decision making
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a team-oriented approach
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organisation skills
• Competent computer skills – must include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook as a minimum.
