Responsibilities

  • Serve customers promptly and courteously at the counter, taking orders accurately.
  • Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality standards are maintained.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service.

  • Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure the counter remains fully stocked throughout shifts.

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Previous experience in serving or working behind a counter is advantageous.
