Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our dynamic butchery team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support while assisting them with their purchases. Your ability to communicate effectively will be highly valued as you engage with a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their needs.
  • Provide detailed product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the counter.
  • Maintain an organised and clean workspace to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve service delivery.
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
  • Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Previous experience in butchery retail or sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
