Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our team and provide educational support to students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN children and a passion for helping them succeed academically.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions to students in various subjects, focusing on areas where they need additional support
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment and developing assessments
- Utilise special education techniques for students with learning difficulties
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to ensure academic goals are met and monitoring students' progress.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children special needs in an educational setting up to GCSE
- Ability to educate and motivate students effectively up to GCSE
- Special education knowledge or experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions
