We are based in Theale, West Berkshire. The successful candidate must live within a 40-mile radius of our Head Office and is expected to work from the office three days per week depending on business needs.
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented eCommerce Executive to support the Marketing team in driving digital performance and strengthening our online brand presence. This role combines hands-on site merchandising and content management, accurate and timely product & promotional updates, and strategic website activation initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across all digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, with a strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and digital brand-building.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management & Merchandising
- Carry out daily website updates, including new product launches, content refreshes, homepage changes, and promotional set-ups.
- Ensure accurate and timely product uploads, pricing changes, stock updates, and promotional activations across the site.
- Optimise category layouts, product visibility, filters, and navigation to maximise conversion and user experience.
- Maintain high-quality product information, imagery, descriptions, and metadata in line with brand and SEO guidelines.
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly by partnering with internal teams or external agency support.
Digital Activation & Brand Presence
- Support the Head of Marketing in planning and executing digital activation strategies that increase brand awareness and drive online revenue across seasonal campaigns, promotions, brand visibility and product launches.
- Collaborate across the marketing and wider teams to ensure cohesive messaging and content across all digital channels.
- Enhance our brands' digital identities through strong visual merchandising, compelling storytelling, and best-in-class onsite experiences.
- Support the creation of engaging promotional materials, including banners, product displays, using Canva or InDesign to align with marketing campaigns and product launches.
Performance, Reporting & Optimisation
- Maintain and update regular reports on ecommerce performance, focusing on product visibility, sales data, and homepage ad effectiveness.
- Analyse site performance metrics (e.g., traffic, AOV, conversion rates, bounce rates) and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor site performance and tracking KPIs such as sales growth, AOV, customer engagement and user behaviour using tools such as GA4 and platform analytics.
- Stay informed about eCommerce trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to guide future enhancements.
Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in an eCommerce or digital marketing, with a focus on product listings, promotions or site management.
- Experience with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or similar) and content management systems (CMS).
- Good understanding of GA4 or other performance tools with an analytical mindset and the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy when managing products, pricing, and promotions.
- Proficiency in Canva and/or InDesign for creating promotional materials and banners, with a creative eye.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the marketing and wider team.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
