As a Senior Manager, Payment Product Management you will lead the development and enhancement of Western Union's product offerings across markets and channels. You will support the execution of long-term product strategies, build business cases for new opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable growth.
Role Responsibilities
Develop product strategy and manage product offerings, including value proposition, features, pricing, and distribution across all channels.
Support Western Union's long-term product vision through the initiation and execution of new product initiatives.
Identify new business opportunities (products, services, up-sell, cross-sell) using customer insights, market research, and industry analysis.
Research and explore new growth sources across mobile, internet/eCommerce, telephone, and other non-traditional channels.
Investigate new market opportunities to identify potential product offerings, strategic alliances, and new consumer segments.
Build clear business cases outlining revenue potential, prioritisation, and expected outcomes.
Assist in sizing and scoping opportunities to determine both short- and long-term organisational benefits.
Partner with Finance, Business Intelligence, Product Management, CRM, Marketing, ANM, Operations, and Systems to coordinate product-related deliverables.
Collaborate with Marketing on growth initiatives, customer-segment efforts, and activities that support business goals.
Coordinate and execute product strategies and programs that reinforce the Global Brand at the local customer-experience level.
Monitor and recommend improvements to enhance the overall Western Union value proposition.
Conduct competitive and comparative analysis to inform product direction and feature prioritisation.
May lead and manage aspects of the product P&L.
Role Requirements
University degree, plus 7+ years of related product management experience.
(MBA preferred.)
Experience analysing market data, industry trends, and customer insights.
Strong ability to develop business cases and evaluate revenue opportunities.
Experience working cross-functionally with finance, marketing, operations, systems, and product teams.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to support product strategy and execution.
