Part-time 20 hours over 4 days per week, shifts from 10am-3pm. (1 weekday off).

About our Nursery

Nestled in a grand converted house with breath-taking views of rolling fields, Sandhills Day Nursery Alvechurch offers a truly unique environment for any child's early years. Across our seven main playrooms, each designed to foster a child's curiosity and development, our nursery is a busy but passionate environment to work in. Conveniently situated within 30 minutes of Birmingham city centre, just 2 minutes from junction 2 off the M42 in the beautiful village of Alvechurch. There is an ample area for staff to park.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you'll:

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
