Our client, a well -established and highly respected car dealership in Swindon, Wiltshire, is looking for an experienced professional to join their team. About the Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. If you thrive under pressure and enjoy diagnosing and solving complex automotive issues, this role is perfect for you. RequirementsPerform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment.Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.Repair or replace components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles are in top condition.Test drive vehicles to confirm proper functionality after repairs.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and services performed.Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize workflow and customer service. We're looking for someone with:Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or in a similar role.Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and components.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.Excellent problem -solving abilities and attention to detail.A proactive and team -oriented mindset with good communication skills.The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high -pressure environment.
