Glideline is a leading manufacturer of premium aluminium glazing systems, supplying bespoke sliding doors and windows across the UK. We're expanding our operations and are looking for a hands-on Dispatch Supervisor to join our team.

Working closely with our Logistics Manager, you'll be responsible for preparing jobs for delivery, coordinating daily dispatch, and ensuring our products leave the factory in perfect condition — on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Logistics Manager to plan and organise daily deliveries.
  • Prepare and load products ready for dispatch.
  • Operate a forklift to move and load materials safely and efficiently.
  • Check orders for accuracy, quality, and completeness before loading.
  • Supervise and support a small dispatch team, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Liaise with drivers to ensure vans are correctly loaded and routes are clear.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised dispatch area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in dispatch, warehouse, or logistics supervision.
  • Full driving license
  • Valid forklift licence (counterbalance) preferred.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight schedules.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
