About the Role

We're looking for an experienced
Private Clients Account Handler
to join a respected, independent insurance brokerage in Finchley.

You'll manage and service a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing tailored advice and exceptional customer care across a range of personal insurance products.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in private clients or HNW insurance who prides themselves on service quality, attention to detail, and long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, acting as their main point of contact.
  • Handle all aspects of policy administration — enquiries, mid-term adjustments, renewals, and documentation.
  • Liaise with underwriters to negotiate competitive terms and bespoke coverage solutions.
  • Assess client risk profiles and provide expert recommendations to ensure adequate protection.
  • Ensure all documentation and processes meet FCA and industry compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate client records and prepare reports on insurance portfolios.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to support business growth.
  • Conduct peer reviews and maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in all documentation.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, product developments, and regulatory changes.

About You

  • Experience in a
    Private Clients Account Handler
    or
    High Net Worth Insurance
    role.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products (home, motor, jewellery, fine art, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of underwriting principles and insurance regulation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficient in
    Acturis insurance software
    and
    Microsoft Office Suite
    .
  • Professional, ethical, and proactive in managing client needs.
