Overview

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
  • Regular unloading of containers by hand.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch.
  • Maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (counterbalance and articulated), pallet trucks and scissor lifts (training provided).
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory management.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • A valid forklift licence preferred but not necessary

This role would suit a young person looking for training in a warehouse environment. It involves a variety of tasks in the warehouse environment and a lot of manual work. Training on equipment would be provided if a willingness to work hard and learn new things is shown.

Hours will start at 40 hours per week but times will vary. Mainly Monday to Friday but there will be a requirement for the occaisional Saturday.
