CartosomeTx is at the forefront of developing programmable vesicle platforms for the precise, scalable, and safe delivery of therapeutic payloads. By combining the targeting precision of cell therapies with the manufacturability of biologics, our technology addresses key limitations in how advanced medicines are delivered today. Our Cartosome platform selectively targets diseased cells and delivers RNA, gene-editing, or protein-based payloads with high accuracy and minimal immune activation. This off-the-shelf delivery system supports next-generation treatments across oncology, autoimmune, and genetic diseases. Our mission is to create intelligent delivery systems that simplify complex therapies, enhance their safety, and improve accessibility for patients worldwide.

Role Description

This is a call for a Co-Founder located in Cambridge. As a Co-Founder, you will join the founder to create, and form the foundations that is CartosomeTX.

You will collaborate closely with the founder to drive the company's mission, lead fundraising efforts, and manage key partnerships. Additionally, you will contribute to marketing and sales strategies to expand our market presence and drive growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Advanced Therapeutics, Gene Therapy and Vector Engineering
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Drive to build a disrupting life-science company within Cambridge
  • Strategic planning and business development experience
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work remotely and to drive the future of the company
  • EngD/PhD proven research in Exosomes, Lipid Nanoparticles, hydrogels and biotechnological material sciences is an advantage
