Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering high-quality service. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures.
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure effective sanitation.
  • Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans or post-event sanitation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand specific cleaning requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Good communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are vital to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time during shifts.
  • Driving experience or a valid driving licence is preferred for travel between multiple sites.
  • Excellent customer service skills to address client needs courteously and professionally. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe environment while developing valuable skills within a supportive team setting.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21 per hour
