We are excited to introduce a new opportunity within the Relationship Management and Global Claims team, part of Client Support Services (CSS).

This role offers a fantastic chance to join our highly successful team of Global Relationship Managers, who work closely with our business partners, clients, and brokers across Guy Carpenter. Whether you are early in your career as a reinsurance client advocate or a client-facing technician specialising in Pro-Rata and Claims, this position represents a valuable step forward in your professional growth.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide a holistic view across the entire servicing value chain, connecting the production areas and post-placement areas, ensuring our claims value proposition is part of our sales culture.
  • Be the first point of contact for Brokers and senior executives within the Ceded Re departments of our clients.
  • Advocate and be the voice of the client, representing their interests with their business partners.
  • Provide insightful management information by partnering with MI teams to design and provide regular reporting to all appropriate stakeholders.
  • Explore business development opportunities with brokers.
  • Ensure that skillsets are continually reviewed and enhanced.
  • Build and maintain value-added partnerships with strategic markets to improve performance cycle times.
  • Demonstrate a pipeline of excellence and succession by coaching colleagues.
  • Join us in a hybrid role that requires you to work at least three days a week in our London office.

What you need to have:

  • Strong knowledge of reinsurance principles, practices, and procedures is essential.
  • Experience in Pro-Rata and XOL claims handling within the reinsurance industry is essential.
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders in the reinsurance sector is essential.
  • Experience of working with all aspects of post-placement activities.
  • Ability to analyse data, seeking trends and translating this into valued insights for the business and our clients.
  • Be able to articulate and demonstrate positive results for clients and the business.
