Database Manager – Commercial Digital System

Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world.

To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Database Manager – Commercial Digital System in the Group IT Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.

Summary:

The Database Manager will be the owner of our CRM instance (Sales and Service Cloud) and will manage the architecture of our infrastructure. Including but not limited to: object and field mapping, external interfaces, API connections, data quality, data merging and deduplications rules. Key responsibilities lay with building and scaling our database for all European markets, ensuring that our data is clean and usable and technical reporting.

As this role will act across the whole customer lifecycle, the Database Manager will very closely interact with the European marketing, sales and after sales departments. 

What you'll do:

•Optimize the improvement of the CRM architecture, processes and tools

•Ensure our CRM infrastructure is stable and scalable

•Proactive, develop solutions to solve business problems and enhance functional performance

•Reactive, break down business requests into technical concepts and implementation tasks

•Continuously improve our CRM data hygiene through data cleansing procedures and match/merge processes.

•Allow the CRM infrastructure to communicate with a variety of tools (API, webhook, etc.)

•Ensure that our CRM instance adheres to GDPR and other privacy laws

•Completion of requests raised by Salesforce Application business users

•Manage Salesforce user rights and access

•Develop and maintain technical and support documentation

•Ensure the reliability and availability of the Salesforce Application

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor degree in (digital) Marketing, IT or equivalent

•Salesforce Admin or Architect Certifications are a bonus

• Experience in a similar job ideally in an agile, start-up environment

•Extensive technical knowledge about Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud

•Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a bonus

•Functional SQL skills and/or programming languages are a bonus

•Familiar with GDPR and privacy developments and their technical impact

•Organised, ability to work with parallel work streams, and manage pressure

•Flexible personality and willing to think "outside of the box"

•Outstanding communication skills

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time. 
• Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
