We are looking for a Prudential Regulatory Accountant to join our Finance team in London.
Responsibilities:
- Daily reporting and monitoring of capital adequacy and key ratios
- Preparation and submission of quarterly regulatory returns for EU and UK regulated entities
- Maintain reporting framework with data validations, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Produce key management information and provide ad-hoc updates to senior leaders
- Work closely with development team to enhance the regulatory reporting
- Responding to queries by the regulator in relation to prudential reporting
- Work closely with the business on new business initiatives and assess the impact of new products and trade flows
- Stay updated on changes to relevant prudential regulations and assess impact to the business
- Maintain supporting documentation and work on continuously improve existing reporting framework
- Contribute to key regulatory prudential documents
- Work closely with other DRW teams including Treasury, Risk and Compliance
Required Skills & Experience:
- Qualified accountant or CFA with a minimum of 5 years PQE with experience in financial services, proprietary trading experience preferred
- Clear understanding of IFPR, IFR/IFD and CRR/CRD
- Strong financial products knowledge
- Experience in working with regulatory reporting software and data flows
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to work effectively with large data sets to produce high quality reporting
- Knowledge of industry standards, legislation and regulation relating to prudential and financial risk management
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
