What will you be doing?

Working within the commercial team you will support the commercial manager by providing assistance in the following;

  • Administrating our contracts and issuing the correct contractual notices
  • Producing integrated cost forecasts for projects
  • Managing commercial issues related to withheld, disputed or disallowed costs
  • Assisting with resolution of disputes and learning negotiation strategies
  • Assisting with subcontract preparation following procurement
  • Assessing interim and final accounts
  • Pricing additional and varied works

Sounding Good?

 

What will I need to be considered? 

  • Have achieved or on track to achieve your degree in Quantity Surveying but we will consider other RICS accredited degree
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport) Meaning a full UK driving licence would be preferred.
  • Flexibility - Successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites.
  • Great communication skills. (Written and Verbal)
  • Self- motivated – attitude is key, it's your career
  • A team player
