Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, lead projects effectively, and ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in commercial settings.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning units, providing timely solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to facilitate installation and repair tasks.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to integrate air conditioning systems into new builds or renovations.
  • Lead small teams during installation projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • F-Gas Card
  • Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or in a similar role within the HVAC industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on air conditioning systems and equipment repair.
  • Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documents related to HVAC systems.
  • Experience in maintenance practices related to air conditioning and other mechanical systems.
  • A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites within the London area and occasional travel to the Midlands.
