Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs promptly to minimise downtime
  • Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise maintenance procedures and improve operational processes

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
  • Experience operating power tools safely and efficiently
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Good communication skills to report issues clearly and accurately
