Client Finance Manager, Media Group, Central London, £55-60,000

Our client, part of one of the largest Media Groups, is looking for a Finance Manager to support the FD and FC in all finance and commercial activity. Our client operates across media strategy, insights, and delivery of digital marketing campaigns. A key role, a hybrid between financial reporting and client finance.

Key responsibilities.

  • Building a best-in-class finance function
  • Commercial support, strategic analysis and decision support – providing visibility
  • Building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Producing monthly MI and year end reporting - managing the P&L and entire balance sheet
  • Owning the audit process
  • High quality variance analysis of MI, profitability and utilisation metrics
  • Ensure robust processes exist around timely billings and collections.
  • Improve and integrate our existing systems and look to continually develop our data collection and analysis
  • Establish and maintain KPI's, reviews and procedures around job selection, revenue forecasting, job tracking, job profitability and overage recovery.
  • In conjunction with business leaders develop and run the annual budget process and build a cycle of ongoing forecasting.

We believe someone with the following experience could be a great match for this role:

  • A relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Experience in professional services preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of excel and accounting systems.
  • A high level of EQ and a collaborative, enthusiastic approach.
